
The College of Medicine at Anbar University Concludes an Educational Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications in Teaching and Scientific Research
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Walid Nassar Jaffal, and in collaboration between the College of Medicine and the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the College of Computer Science, an educational workshop titled "Artificial Intelligence: Leveraging Its Applications in Teaching, Lecture Preparation, and Scientific Research" concluded successfully. The workshop was held over two sessions on Wednesday, September 19, 2025, and Monday, February 24, 2026.
Objectives and Target Audience
The workshop aimed to enhance the skills of the teaching staff by exploring methods to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in:
- Modernizing teaching techniques.
- Preparing interactive lectures using AI tools.
- Improving the quality of scientific research through data analysis and intelligent model generation.
This initiative aligns with the college's commitment to keeping pace with technological advancements and enhancing academic and research efficiency.
Workshop Highlights
Session One (September 19, 2025):
- Introduction to AI and its practical tools in education.
- Hands-on training on smart platforms for lecture preparation and interactive content design.
Session Two (February 24, 2026):
- Applications of AI in research data analysis and hypothesis development.
- Discussion on ethical and methodological challenges in using these technologies.
