Awareness Activity by the Women’s Affairs Unit on Rationalizing Medical Consumption and Promoting Environmental Sustainability

As part of its awareness activities aimed at promoting the culture of sustainable development and enhancing environmental awareness, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Medicine prepared an electronic poster entitled “Towards a More Aware Environment: Visual Guidelines for Rationalizing Medical Consumption.”

The poster included a set of guidelines and recommendations designed to encourage the rational use of medical tools and supplies, while highlighting the importance of responsible practices in reducing waste and minimizing the environmental impacts resulting from excessive and inefficient consumption.

The poster was displayed on electronic screens throughout the college to raise awareness among faculty members, staff, and students about the importance of the optimal use of medical materials. Such practices play a significant role in reducing environmental pollution and maintaining a healthy and clean environment, in line with the goals of sustainable development and the principles of social responsibility.
