The Dean of the College of Medicine honors student Mohammed Othman Mahisen for discovering a scientific error in a global medical book

 In a significant move highlighting the excellence of students at the College of Medicine, the Dean of the college honored student Mohammed Othman Muheisen in recognition of his discovery of a scientific error in the book Macleod's Clinical Examination, one of the world's renowned medical references in the field of clinical examination.

While studying the aforementioned book, Mohammed Othman identified a scientific error related to one of the clinical examination methods presented in it, contributing to the improvement of the accuracy of medical information available to students and practitioners.

Following extensive discussions between the Departments of Internal Medicine and Surgery, the error was confirmed, and the relevant authorities were contacted to address the correction.

Professor Dr. Waleed Nassar Jaffal, the esteemed Dean of the college, noted that this discovery reflects the student’s ability to think critically and meticulously review scientific sources, which enhances the quality of medical education at the college.
