**The Council of the College of Medicine – University of Anbar Holds Its Sixth Session for the Academic Year 2025–2026**
The Council of the College of Medicine at the University of Anbar held its sixth session for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Waleed Nassar Jaffal, and attended by the council members, including heads of the scientific departments.
The session commenced with a discussion of the directives issued during the sixth session of the University Council for the academic year 2025–2026, where key points related to the progress of academic and administrative processes were reviewed.
The council also discussed the directives and recommendations of the Dean aimed at enhancing academic performance and developing the educational and research environment within the college.
The agenda included several important topics, most notably the discussion of the minutes of the College Curriculum Committee meeting and its recommendations.
In a related context, the council reviewed the reports and activities of the scientific committees of several departments, including Surgery, Physiology, Family and Community Medicine, and Pediatrics, highlighting their key activities and scientific recommendations.
The session also addressed the adoption of modern teaching methods to improve the educational process and enhance teaching performance.
The council emphasized the importance of preparing for the final examinations and completing the requirements of the second semester to ensure the smooth progress of the academic process.
Additionally, a number of official correspondences received from the Student Affairs Department at the University Presidency were discussed, and appropriate recommendations were made.
At the conclusion of the session, the Dean stressed the importance of teamwork and the continuation of efforts to advance the scientific and academic level of the college in support of its educational mission.
