The College of Medicine at the University of Anbar Holds a Scientific Lecture on Quality Requirements in Accordance with International Standards
As part of its ongoing efforts to advance academic standards and promote the concepts of total quality, the College of Medicine at the University of Anbar organized a scientific lecture entitled: “Methodology and Procedures of Evaluation and Preparations for Certification”, which addressed the fundamentals of implementing quality requirements in the medical group in accordance with international standards.
The lecture was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waleed Nassar Jaffal, Dean of the College of Medicine, and was attended by the Assistant Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, along with a number of faculty members, reflecting the college’s commitment to fostering a culture of quality and academic accreditation.
The lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Abdul Salam Ali Hussein Al-Nouri, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Anbar, who highlighted the key standards and procedures adopted in evaluating educational institutions, as well as the mechanisms for preparing to obtain quality certifications, in a way that contributes to institutional performance development and the achievement of academic accreditation.
The session was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Sawsan Qahtan Taha, Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the college, and Lecturer Dr. Raed Mahdi Saleh, Head of the Internal Audit and Control Unit. The lecture witnessed notable engagement from attendees, along with constructive scientific discussions focusing on ways to implement quality concepts in the educational and medical environment.
This activity comes within the framework of the college’s commitment to strengthening a culture of quality and academic accreditation, in alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to develop educational institutions in accordance with international standards.
