Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Walid Nassar Jaffal, the College of Medicine at the University of Anbar held an awareness workshop titled:
"Civil Defense: How to Use Fire Extinguishers."
The workshop aimed to train and prepare college staff to deal with fire-related hazards, enhance awareness of preventive measures, and correctly utilize firefighting equipment.
Organized by the Civil Defense Department at the University of Anbar in coordination with the Civil Defense Directorate of Anbar Province, the workshop provided both theoretical and practical training on effective and rapid emergency response. It included hands-on exercises on using fire extinguishers.
Prof. Dr. Walid Nassar Jaffal expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the organizers of the workshop. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting safety and awareness within the college and ensuring readiness to handle emergencies effectively.
