With the blessings of God Almighty, the eleventh session of the College of Medicine Council – University of Anbar – was held on the morning of Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in the College Council Hall. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Waleed Nassar Jafal, Dean of the College and Chair of the Council, and attended by the esteemed council members.

The Dean opened the session with a welcoming speech to the members, expressing his appreciation for their efforts in supporting the college’s academic and administrative progress, and stressing the importance of teamwork in achieving the college’s strategic goals.

The meeting discussed several key topics, most notably:

• Following up on the implementation of the directives from the eleventh session of the University of Anbar Council and aligning them with the college’s vision and future plans.

• Reviewing the Dean’s directives and recommendations.

• Discussing memoranda of understanding signed with the Universities of Sousse and Manar in Tunisia.

• Reviewing the Curriculum Committee’s report.

• Approving the schedule for the second round of examinations and preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of exams in line with regulations and instructions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Waleed Nassar Jafal expressed his gratitude to the council members for their sincere efforts, encouraging further dedication and cooperation to advance the academic and administrative standing of the college.
