The College of Medicine – University of Anbar Holds Its Fourth Session for the Academic Year 2025/2026
Under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Walid Nassar Jafal, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Council, and in the presence of the esteemed members of the Council, the fourth session of the Council of the College of Medicine – University of Anbar was held, with the help of Almighty God, on Monday, 19 January 2026.
At the outset of the session, the Dean delivered a welcoming address in which he expressed his high appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Council members in serving the College, commending their effective role in advancing its academic and administrative progress.
During the session, the Council discussed a number of important agenda items, including:

Discussing the directives of the fourth session of the University of Anbar Council.

The directives and recommendations of the Dean of the College.

Extension of study periods for postgraduate students (Master’s and PhD).

Discussing the report of the Curriculum Committee.

Emphasizing the schedules for holding departmental councils.
At the conclusion of the session, Professor Dr. Walid Nassar Jafal praised the interaction and constructive contributions of the Council members, emphasizing the importance of continuing coordination and teamwork, in a manner that contributes to strengthening the College’s standing and supporting its academic and administrative journey.
